My Story

 

I was not an artist until I broke my neck in a high school wrestling match and was paralyzed from the neck down. Being a quadriplegic, I decided not to dwell on what I couldn’t do, but to explore what I could do. I taught myself to draw and paint by mouth. To overcome my limited reach, I learned to draw upside down and sideways to create the intricate detail that’s become my style. I love wildlife and their beauty inspires me every day.

I sign each print and a biography card will also be included. Shipping in a mailing tube will cause the print to curl, but it can be easily flattened by your local framer. Some framers use a dry mounting technique where they spray an adhesive on a mounting board and basically glue the print to the board. This will ruin the print. Museum mounting or conservation framing is usually best.

PRINTS BEND & WRINKLE EASILY.- PLEASE HANDLE WITH CARE

 

Your fine art print is printed on Mohawk Superfine paper.  An 80 pound, acid-free, alum-free, and rosin-free paper with an aging test indicating permanence of 300 years (not like any of us would be around to prove them wrong).
